These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of bhaavna.com (the "Site"), the official website of the author Bhaavna Arora ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not use the Site.

1. Eligibility — adults only

The Site is intended solely for individuals who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher). The books and content described on the Site deal with war, armed conflict, death, violence and other mature themes that may not be suitable for minors. By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly provide the Site's interactive features (including the contact form) to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

2. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, book excerpts and descriptions, photographs, videos, artwork, logos and design — is the property of Bhaavna Arora or her licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, transmit, distribute, modify, sell or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download content from the Site by automated means, except for good-faith indexing by recognised search engines;
• use the Site's content, in whole or in part, to train machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models without prior written permission;
• probe, scan, attack or attempt to breach the Site's security, or interfere with its operation (including by submitting automated or abusive contact-form traffic);
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation when contacting us;
• submit through the contact form any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, infringing, or that contains malware or spam.

4. Contact form submissions

By sending a message through the contact form you grant us the right to read, store and reply to that message. You remain responsible for its content. We do not guarantee a response to every message.

5. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party websites and services (including Amazon, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube and news publications). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or practices. Purchases made through such links are transactions solely between you and the third party, under that party's terms.

6. No professional advice

Content on the Site is provided for general information and literary purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional, legal, medical or military advice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms.
