Dr Bhaavna attended the PAN IIM conference on “Emerging Issues in Management” in Goa, where she presented her paper on ‘Leadership required at different levels.’ She also had a chance to rub shoulders with Dr Shashi Tharoor, who was invited as a guest speaker and with whom she had a highly interesting intriguing conversation.
Bhaavna’s first paper presentation was in Vienna, Austria, at ECBE (European Council of Business Education). The paper was titled, “The Changing Dynamics of Management Education Landscape in Emerging Economies: The need for an alternative approach.”
Her paper was well appreciated there and she got an offer from Tiffin University to train their students.
Bhaavna has worked very closely with Mr Shiv Khera’s team over a project for her college.
Although the project didn’t materialise, she was enriched in experience and knowledge by this motivational speaker.
During the formulation of the PGDM syllabus for her business school, Bhaavna travelled across the world to visit the Best B Schools and learn about their strategies, content and methodologies in teaching.
She visited Sloan School of Business (MIT, Boston), Harvard Business School etc., to get their best practices incorporated in the syllabus.
During her tenure as Director of a B School, Bhaavna bagged the award for the Best Upcoming B School in Bangalore by Brand’s Academy for Education excellence awards
